anyone else's belly button...

Feel like it is going to rip apart?! ok, so I don't think I've posted here...been a lurker almost the whole time. due on 9-21, have a ds that is almost 23 mths, who was born on 10-11 @ exactly 38 wks. so naturally I think this little girl will arrive tomorrow on 9-10, lol. she made it past 38 wks already so if not tomorrow my next prediction is 40 + wks. oh with ds water broke on it's own with no previous contractions & didn't have any until they started pitocin then the fun began...I know, i know, don't compare. I've had bh this time around & carpel tunnel ( my thumb is pretty much numb as I type) and massive acid reflux for about 2 mths but think that's better since she has dropped. anyway, did I have a question? I'm pondering all the snarky comments & hoping for a few good gifs & if nothing else maybe some food comments! Thanks for giving me some entertainment when I get up every 2 hrs to pee! ;)

Oh, I guess there was a question in there, just lots of other stuff that distracted me. My belly button feels normal, to answer your question. Irrelevant, but: I hate belly buttons. I think they're really gross and I can't touch mine. I cringe and get kinda nauseous whenever I see someone else touching their own, or when my midwife or an ultrasound tech gets anywhere near mine.
I feel the same way!! My mom stuck her finger in mine a few weeks ago and she still likes to joke that she heard the devil come out of me when I yelled at her to never do that again. It was so gross and overwhelming! Ew! I cringe just remembering it.

No no no no no! Why? Why would you do this?! Belly buttons are not natural... well, I guess they are completely natural but that doesn't change the fact that they are weird and gross! I hate that mine is starting to stick out, it's starting to rub on my shirt... yuck, I'm going to make myself sick.
Thank you! They are disgusting. Ugh. No.

Gross! My mom would never do that because she has the same irrational fear/gross out factor that I do. I guess I got it from her. We both hate them. Even if someone gets near mine while feeling my belly and I have a shirt on, I twist away and probably look ridiculous. I'm always like, "Sorry, I have...belly button issues..." haha
DH poked mine once and I FREAKED out. He backed away and said, "Um, overreaction much?" While laughing at me. It was so nasty though! I was like, "Don't ever touch me there again!"

Really? Mine's still an innie and it definitely isn't going to pop out, as I still can't really see the bottom. Not that I'm looking that hard...
