Elderly Multigravida, WTF?

I saw this as a diagnoses or whatever the hell at the bottom of a blood work form. I googled the definition:

"Second or more pregnancy in a woman who will be 35 years or older at expected date of delivery.”

I won't even be 30 at the time of delivery, don't understand  ???

I agree over 35 is not elderly, but I at least recall that term being used. I'm thinking maybe that's the only term in their system for someone who has been pregnant more than twice?

I've never heard it called "elderly" we call anybody over 35 as advanced maternal age...

They call me geriatric.  I like that better.

 

BUt yeah, if it doesn't apply to you, it shouldn't be on your paperwork.  If nothing else, it will affect the cost of your care.

That is odd. Usually the use the term "advanced maternal age", still no reason for it to be used on you though.

"Elderly multigravida" is synonymous with "advanced maternal age - having had a child already." Elderly primagravida means AMA with first child.  As far as babymaking, 35 is the magic number for meaning we're old as f*ck. Fun, huh?

They might have just typed your birthdate wrong on something - I'd check with the dr.'s office.
