Carrier with bad back and C-section

Hi guys, I'm interested in a baby carrier and would love your help. I have a bad lower back and I'll have a c-section. Does anyone have experience with carrying babe with either of these issues? If you had a c-section and carried your baby, when did you feel comfortable wearing the carrier?
