Thought that this was it.....

I know I haven't posted in about a month. I really thought that this last IUI was gonna be it. Numbers were there, E2 over 900, had four follicles, 19, 17, 17, 16 day before trigger. Was pregnant 2 days in a row with clearblue digital, day of beta, it was low 24. I know it's about the doubling of numbers, but I started this cycle strong. Two days later, numbers going down. Third beta, miscarried. I am so confused, disappointed, numb. I don't know what to do next. This is the second one. In a row. June/ September. What questions should I ask RE at my next WT REALLY F appt? Should I ask for her to run test? This one really done a number on me. I have lost weight, 118 down to 107. I think I am getting depressed. I haven't felt the emotions yet, still numb. What to do next? I think I want to try again w/ another IUI. Can't afford ivf. Afraid she, RE, will suggest donor egg. I am not there yet. I am not ready for that.

    I really don't have any advice, I just wanted to send big hugs. I don't know why this cycle didn't work out for you, or what the best steps are for you from here, but I'm struck by the unfairness of it all, and wanted to let you know you're in my thoughts.

    I'm sorry.  I hope the RE can provide you some answers.
    Me-41, Hubby-40.
    1st BFP-8/17/12!  Missed Miscarriage discovered @ 8 week US.  D&C.
    2nd BFP-2/13/13!  Blighted Ovum discovered @ 8 week US. Natural miscarriage.
    3rd BFP-5/22/13!  By early June, progesterone plummeting.  Another loss.
    August 2013 - started Donor Egg process, but surprise BFP with my own eggs.

    I am so sorry.... Most RE's won't run a repeated loss panel until a third lost but you might discuss this with your RE.  You might also ask her bout some additional testing. Autoimmune testing etc...

    Me DX: Hashimotos,Hypothyroid, DOR, MTHFR,  DH: normal

     IUI #1-#4 BFNs and a few cancelled cycles in the mix.
    - poor responder
    ***Suprise BFP on 6/13/13. Natural MC @6wks 3days
    IVF#1 and 2- Cancelled due to no response on max stimms
    FET 5/20- BFP
    1st Beta- 641
    2nd beta- 2166
    Sono- TWINS!!!!
    Two Boys! Born January 2015 @36 weeks.  Healthy and no NICU!  So blessed!

    I am so sorry. Sending big huge hugs your way. Hopefully the RE can give you some answers for your next step. Hmmm...I don't think she will mention DE at this point but who knows. Keep us posted :(

    ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
    Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

    DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!

    I am so sorry for your loss.

    an idea - Did your RE monitor your progesterone levels? My levels were so low that we did progesterone after IUIs and IVF. There's no harm in using progesterone support. Good luck.

    Thank you. Yes I was on progesterone suppositories. RE only has me on 1 capsule of 400 mg a day. A lot leaks out but they say enough stays in. Maybe not in my case. That's a good question to ask.

    @beckyp005 you were right. RE did not even mention DE these last two cycles.That was a relief. She only mentioned DE when we started this journey. She mentioned to try 3 IUI's then think about DE. But I guess since I got pregnant, twice, she is willing to go even that extra mile.
