A few questions...

Hi! I've been lurking around for a few weeks now, and have finally decided to join! I have a few questions... 

1. Do I need to/should I do one introduction on each board I want to post in? Or just 1 long intro on here, and then jump into conversations? (I know I've seen a few people jump into a convo w/ no intro, and it seems that is frowned upon.)

2. How do I add the little animated emoticon faces? I love emoticons!

3. How do I make a signature? (I may have figured this one out... go into my account, click "change my avatar," and there is a spot in there. Just copy and paste html's?)

Oh! Well, there is the answer to my 2nd question... it seems I just type the face in my post, and when I publish the post, there it is!

It depends on the board. Lurk and while and see how it's usually done. Some are tight-knit and more or less expect/require an intro, some don't. And FWIW,  you don't need to do a long intro here IMO

In addition to just typing the, there's a little smiley face drop down box above your post as you're typing. You can find other emoticons there.
