Emotions: the second coming

I had my emotional moments during my first pregnancy, but this pregnancy has been so much more emotional.  I cry frequently, and minor blues seem more like minor blacks this time.  Anyone else seem to have a heavier emotional time during their second pregnancy?

Oh no!  I feel like everything kind of gets amped up on the second pregnancy, but I do hope you remember to talk to your doctor about how you're feeling.

Thanks.  I have let my OB know.  I'm not worried about now, but am a little worried about what postpartum will be like this time.  My husband also knows to keep a closer eye on me.  I should have the wherewithal to say I need more help because I'm generally a pretty well regulated person, but I've made sure to tell my closest support people what to watch for just in case.  Thanks!

Just wanted to offer some hugs.. I agree with PP, jus keep your doctor in the loop, and hopefully you can keep it from getting too bad.. Hang in there.

I can definitely relate. I think I'm a little more emotional this time around because I tend to get overwhelmed being a SAHM to DD who can be a handful at times. If anything, I think worrying about handling both kids is what tends to get me into a "funk" and makes other things hard to deal with.

The further I get in this pregnancy though, the better I'm handling it and realizing that when DS arrives, I'll figure it out like so many mommies before me.
