Hair falling out

Hi ladies,

I intro'ed a few weeks but have been busy with an event at work.

Instead of having the thicker hair that people talk about, my hair has been falling out! I have thick hair so it's not noticeable yet but at the rate it's going, I'm afraid I'll have bald spots. Did you encounter this? If so, did anything help? I'm already on extra iron and folic acid on top of my prenatal. Thanks!

    Have your thyroid levels been checked recently?
    Married 8/2008. IVF with PGD March 2013.
    3/22 ER: 25R, 20M, 15F. 9 genetically normal, and 3 survived to Day 5
    3/27 ET: transferred 1 embryo, beta 9dp5dt=163, 12dp5dt=639
    4/25 1st ultrasound at 7 weeks = identical twins with heartbeats?!!!
    PPROM at 31w, delivery at 32 weeks of two beautiful girls

    Hmm, I think they were tested at 10 weeks with all the other tests. They came back normal. I'm almost 19 so maybe something I should being up?

    I think the hair loss is worth mentioning to your doctor, in case they want to run any tests.

    I have had the same problem. I spoke with a dermatologist about it and he said there is nothing we can do until after I deliver. :(. I'll be asking my OB about it at my next visit.

    I spoke to the doctor and she said that with the increased vitamin intake, she wasn't concerned.
