Anyone here bike with their toddler via trailer or seat attachment?

I'm thinking of biking to class rather than driving. DS1's preK is just down the street from our house, so I was thinking of either getting a trailer or a seat attachment my bike. The only biking that I have ever done with him is him on his trike in the neighborhood, nothing crazy. [DS2, the little one, doesn't go to day care. He stays home with FI during the day, but FI is a paramedic and works nights, so I try to eliminate as much stress as I can and take DS1 to preK before class. I know it's a biitch to get them both in the car and lug them both into the school.]

For those that bike with their toddlers, what's better? Trailer or seat attachment? He is 33 lbs and 39" Any advice would be great. Thanks!

Depending how old/responsible he is I might go for a trailer bike like this

Unless you see yourself wanting to take both kids and then get a regular trailer.

We have a double bike trailer that is nice because if you need to take bags or anything along with you it has a big storage area.  DS has been riding in it since he was about 15 months and he loves it still.  My DS would not do well on a tow behind bike, he's too young yet.

I posted about buying a trailer a couple of weeks ago and the general consensus seems to be that trailers are much safer than the seat attachment.

I would definitely get a trailer rather than a bike attachment. They are much safer. We have a single and DS loves it.
