It's 5am and I have yet to fall asleep. I slept all day yesterday!
Currently watching law and order waiting for DH to wake up for work at 5:30 so he can make me grill cheese lol. Hopefully I will be able to catch some zzzz's later. Little one seems annoyed I am awake because every hr she is giving me occasional kicks. She doesn't like when I lay on my side.
Yesterday was such a lazy day didn't do anything thing :-/
Qotd: I am Puerto Rican and DH is Dominican so we both come from a Spanish speaking background. We both speak very fluent Spanish and was hoping to only speak Spanish to my little girl as she will learn English in school. DH family only speaks Spanish at the house and my parents spoke mostly English so we will see how long my no English rule will last ha ha ha.. I am sure not long.. Oh well
I slept ok last night. Apparently the snoring has returned so hubby moved out to the couch at 3a. I tossed and turned until alarm went off at 6a.
Today is MFM and OB appt. It's my big day out! Thinking about taking the puppy to "daycare" so that she'll be tired too when I get home so we can all nap.
QOTD: Only English, but I would love for them to speak other languages. I think Spanish and/or Japanese would be good for them to know.
P.S. I want a grilled cheese now too...

Slept alright until my alarm went off to take my procardia pill at 6am..after a trip to the bathroom LO turned into a gumball contortionist I swear!! Can't go back to sleep at all. Think I'm going to watch some netflix.
Milestones? Hmm another day down!! Oh yeah and I will finally shave my legs today or have my dh do it for me. I mean holy cow it's gotten bad 0_0
Yes, there will be two languages spoken English and German.
P.s. damn you ppl now I want a grilled cheese pronto haha
I was up every hour last night with the urge to pee really bad. And every time it was nothing more than a tinkle! - so annoying!
I'm 34.5 weeks today and have an MFM appt this afternoon. I can't wait to see our little peanuts & weights!
H & I don't speak anything other than English. I do remember some Spanish from school and teach what I can to our son, he is already learning some in kindergarten!
Update: 30w 6d slept lousy. My hips were so painful every time I was on my side. Then if I was even remotely on my back, the weight of the babies felt like it was crushing my organs. I got up quite a few times to use the restroom and my boy would protest so much when I got back in bed that the nurse had to check me once because I swore his foot was in my vagina. Ugh. Maybe I can get a nap today. During my hubby's daily visit yesterday, we both fell asleep (him on the couch and me on the bed). I miss sleeping next to him so much!
QOTD: DH and I only speak English. My parents speak another language and his speak Spanish, but their generation thought it was best not to teach their kids to avoid confusing us. I really wish they had. Maybe they will teach our kids.

How did everyone sleep? Amazingly, I slept pretty good. Still up every 2 hours but I was easily able to get back to sleep each time. I went to bed at 10 and got up at 6 - so not too shabby.
Start of a new week!! Milestones? Updates? Appts? Nothing new for me other than I made it through my first weekend of bed rest. DH was amazing and has picked up all of the household chores - which I feel incredibly guilty about. He keeps telling me it's fine and that he "likes it" - but I feel like such a lazy bum laying in bed or on the couch while he does laundry, dishes, cleaning, etc.
Qotd: Do you speak any other language other then English? If so what language and will you raise your baby speaking it? I am fluent in ASL due to my job. I'm sure I'll do some baby signing with the girls. While it's not a different language, per se, DH is from Scotland and so has a lot of terms/sayings/slang that he uses that we don't. I'm dying for the girls to pick up on some of if (it's rubbed off on me too) except for "bollox" which he says quite a bit - and I don't imagine would be too cute coming from a 3 y/o girl. Lol

Congratulations to everyone on new milestones! Great to read about :-) I am 20w 1d today and had a cervical check with my MFM. It is 2.7ish which is up a little from Friday after I had a bout of bad contractions. Still not dilated, so that's the good news I am holding onto! Not going out of my mind at the hospital yet, but I haven't even been here a week, so who knows.
Unfortunately DH and I only speak English, would love it if one of us were bilingual!
31 weeks today! It's hard to believe it's been 5 weeks of modified bed rest at home. I feel amazingly upbeat and excited that I could only have 6 more weeks before I'm induced.
QOTD: My husband and I only speak English. I would love to teach our baby sign language, I read about it somehwere, and I would love to learn myself.
I plan to do more research, but @YouMe&Bax any tips on where to start? :-)
Re: Monday Bedrest Check In
Have a appointment today with my mfm for a cervix check and an appointment with my ob Thursday. I was 29 weeks yesterday!
Nope just English here.
