Hello All! DH and I are ttc baby #3. Our first son, who passed away when he was 7 months, was named Luke Richard. Ds #2 is named Benjamin Luke. We love the names of our 2 boys strong and likable. Now that we are thinking about names to go along with them we are stumped! We throw around girl and boy names but we aren't in love with any that come up. Our last name is very common and begins with a T. I don't think we are going to find out the sex this time so we would like to have a boy and a girl name ready. I'm Italian and would like a name reflecting my heritage, but as it might not flow well with Benjamin and our last name I'm won't be completely upset if we don't use an Italian name. Thanks for any suggestions anyone might have!

I love these suggestions for boys' names (all of which are popular among Italian-Americans and go great with Benjamin and Richard), and was going to volunteer Dominic, Christopher, and Paul.

As for girls' names, DD1 is Monica, which is pretty universal and popular among cultures who tend to be Catholic (like Italians) because of the saint. Other suggestions: Bianca, Emilia, Allegra, Christina, Gianna, Adriana, Sofia, Isabel, Beatrice, Gemma.

  • Alexander? Love Christopher and Nicholas too, strong and traditional without being overused.

  • I have a Matthew and Andrew and we are strongly considering Benjamin for boy #3, so IMO they all go well together.  Also DS2 was supposed to be Nicholas until DH changed his mind at the last minute and I think that name also goes well.
