1yr shots suck!

A got hers on fri. Did great yesterday and good most of today. Was adorably cuddly with daddy this morning.

Tonight she went down a little late but did fine. Didnt have a fever or anything, then woke up 2 hours later inconsolable.

Sad day shr just couldn't get comfy. Tried rocking in our chair. Lying kn the couch with her...

Took over 90 minutes after motrin before she went down :-( poor baby.

Thank goodness dad is doing the morning with her because it is now after midnight and i want some sleep.

So glad we chose to just get them over and done with and she won't have this many (7) again anytime soon.

Poor baby. Yes they so suck. O had a rough few nights after his too. Hopefully she sleeps better!

Agreed they suck! DD did fine for a week after hers and then she got a red hard spot on her leg that hurt when you touched it. Mix that in with the worst diaper rash she ever had and 3.5hrs of hysterical crying and we made our first trip to the ER. Now that past 2 days she has been a very sleepy baby...

Yes. They suck! Poor babes have no idea why they feel crappy.

Doesn't help that dh gets cranky when he doesn't sleep. Thonk there may be a trip to grandma's tbis week

hmmm wonder if this is what is going on with DS right now.  He had his shots on Friday and has seemed fine for the most part the past two days but is screaming right now as DH is trying to put him to bed.  I put him to bed 5 days a week so I like to leave weekends for him, especially since DS2 is going to come anytime now.  But it makes me cringe to hear him so upset!

Just seems like these shots are the worst ones yet! Today DD developed little red spots all over her belly and chest and has diarrhea now... Calling the doctors in the am..

7 is a lot! Charlie only had 4, but she needs 1 or 2 more in 3 months.

I agree worst ones yet! My lo got a fever 1 week after which I guess is normal with one of the shots.

which shot? Em got a random fever about a week after his shots too. Just lasted half a day.

MMR and Flu are live virus, so we had 2 of them this time around :-( so glad she was doing better today.

just found the list from the Dr:

1. DTP (pertus/dip)

2. Hemophillius B?

3. MMR

4. Varicella-Zoster?

5. Flu

6. Pneumo Conjugate 13?

7. HepA

I know its a lot, but DH and i decided we'd rather have them over and done with rather than make her do the sticks again in a couple weeks. 

she's done really well so far.  she's a little out of sorts, but not lethargic today and she went down very well for the night.
