Scruffiness and going out

I want to drag DH to the Olive Garden tonight for dinner. He's insisting on shaving. Is a chain restaurant okay to show up to with a bit of scruff? I say yes!

People don't dress up much to go out to eat, do they? Well, I would for a nicer romantic place. Not so much for chains.

And before anyone says anything bad about the Olive Garden, wait until after I get some shrimp primavera.

Scruff is allowed. Also, since I became pregnant, yoga pants are also allowed at restaurants.

Yoga pants are comfy. Lately, I hate pants because I dislike having anything semi-tight around my belly. I'm dreading the cold weather and not being able to wear my summer dresses. Evenings I bloat so badly it feels like my belly is going to explode. Do you get that too?

I think 2 - 5 days scruff is the ideal hotness. I tried to get DH to have it for our wedding, but he said his grandmother wouldn't approve.

Anyway, I think you can wear pretty much whatever you want to Olive Garden.

Yoga pants have become appropriate for events of all sorts since having DS. Especially when paired with a cute shirt!

Sometimes they are cheap with their damn breadsticks.  We would go there in college after feats of athleticism and they'd always try to be like, "Are you sure you want them?  We're about to bring out your food."

No, they never did!  And we were seriously working out for 4 hours. I think they were low on breadsticks and knew our table was trouble.


That stinks. They say "unlimited." Did you complain?
