Hey Ladies!!!

I am so sorry I have been MIA and haven't checked in lately to offer support over here. I had a really hard time the last 10 days cycling away from home and pretty much disappeared from life. I am so happy to see so much good news happening on the IFV board! So to start...

Kflynn & Jschwind...HUGE CONGRATS to both of you for your recent BFP'S!!! I am so thrilled for you guys!!!

PA & LuvB...your baby girls are beyond precious!! Seeing those pics gives so many of us the motivation to continue fighting the grueling battle of IF.

Lacy & RPL...Congrats on being PUPO! I hope those embryos are snuggling in nice and tight!

Liz- Awesome news on your lining! Wishing you a successful transfer coming up!

I hope I covered all the latest. To those of you with growing bellies, I hope you are feeling good and enjoying every moment. And to the rest of you, wherever you are in this difficult journey, my thoughts are with you daily!

AFM...I am soooo happy to be home from CO! Cycling out of town while living in a hotel room for 10 days was not the easiest, but I am glad we did it. Besides a few hiccups (my nurse up & left the clinic on me the other day, and I majorly over stimmed), I was happy with how things went out there. So, from the beginning, my daily u/s was showing 8-9 measurable follies, or so it seemed. We were really hoping for a better response with the EPP and met with the doc 2x last week to discuss different scenarios and options. He was very realistic and felt if we had 6 or less embryos, we should freeze, do another cycle out there, pool the embryos and then do CCS testing. He never lead on that they would get more from me. We were so depressed the whole time, wondering how we could pick up our lives and do this all over again. So we chanted 9, 9, 9 daily, praying we would get 9 eggs. Again, after my daily u/s, they sent me home each time with a little sheet that had 7-8 measurable on my left and only 1 on my right. (My right is pretty busted from having 4 ruptured cysts.) So we were pretty sure the most we would get was 9. And, my track record from previous cycles is 9, 10, 11, so that was pretty expected. Doc even pushed me an extra day to get a few more. My big follies got huge, and me e2 went up to 7,000! Cue the panic attack that my eggs were over cooked and cycle was ruined!

FF to waking up from anesthesia...I opened my eyes, and they said "we got 21 eggs!" My immediate response was "That's not possible. You must have mixed up my eggs with someone else's." They said "nope, they're yours. We promise." I have no idea how in the world that was even possible or where all these eggs came from. We are completely baffled by this, but thrilled nonetheless!! We waited on pins and needles for the fertility report to come in yesterday. Of course, we were chanting 9 again, hoping to have that many be mature. The embryologist called and said "out of 21 eggs retrieved, 20 were mature, and 19 fertilized normally!" WTF?!!! So we officially have 19 embryos growing! They do not give day 3 reports, so I will find out Tuesday how many made it to blasts and will be able to get biopsied for CCS testing. I guess I am starting to believe that miracle do happen at this place!!

What?! He awesome is that? I hope I get the same miracle out there! Congrats to you! A side question for you though. I was told that they have to do ICSI when they do CCS, but you say they let them fertilize normally?

Yes, they did ICSI on all of them!!! When I said they fertilized normally, I just meant there were no issues with fertilization. Sorry for the confusion!
