Today I started getting these sharp, shooting pains in my inner thigh on the right side, in the same spot. It's really high up, feels like it's in the muscle. It happens when I'm standing or putting weight on my right leg. It was so painful this evening and came so unexpectedly, it actually made me scream out loud. Any of you ladies experienced this? Is it the baby pressing on a nerve or something, you think?
I have it sometimes too and I think it is baby sitting on a nerve or something. It is very frustrating and painful when you are carrying a lot of groceries up the stairs too! lol
My inner thighs always feel super sore, like I had a good workout (ha!). It's pretty uncomfortable, but once I get up and get going the pain tends to go away quite a bit.
Probably spd. Symphysis pubis dysfunction. Does it hurt if you press on your pubic bone in the front? unfortunately, there isn't a lot that can be done about it.
I'm only a few days into my third trimester and I get this every day now (or something similar). When sitting down for extended periods of time especially, after I stand up I get soreness in my upper inner thighs like I've been riding a horse or something. Really weird. After walking around for a while the soreness usually gets a little better.
Not to threadjack, buuuuut... @T3hkay Did you ever have this popping before you got pregnant? Have you had it more than once in a day? I had it three times today and it really freaked me out because it's the hip that LO's face is nestled in. His movement is great as ever, but I just never had hip popping before. Almost 38wks.

Hope you get some relief soon.
I know you weren't asking me, but I just started having popping several times a day. It is supposedly normal, and I have spd. It is loud enough to make my husband cringe sometimes!
Like a PP, I get sore inner thighs like I've been working out or riding a horse. So bizarre. My hip doesn't pop too much but my pelvis does It hurts, but not as badly as it did the very first one. Blah.

Thank you both for your responses. I guess I overscrutinize stuff like this, since I'm not used to my body feeling so stiff and awkward all the time, almost like I'm arthritic. I will have to keep an eye on it but it's good to know that it's not an indicator of something being wrong with LO. It's freaky since I know his little head is down there! Will be sure to mention to my OB tomorrow regardless.
Just wanted to add, yes, sounds like SPD and I have this exact pain; it makes it hard to put on pants and it hurts when you roll over in bed. Sometimes it makes you want to do the pregnant lady wobble when you walk, but don't - this will make the pain worse. Just walk normally. When you stand try to use both legs and when you sit keep your knees evenly apart. It's all about keeping your hips even. And try to avoid bending and lifting a lot, or standing in one place for a super long time, this will aggravate it. Feel better

Thanks for sharing this.. I asked my doc about this and she chalked it up to be round ligament pain but from what I've read, it sounds like SPD. I've never had this much pain in my life. I thought maybe it was the extra weight I've gained, but I've literally haven't gained much. But I will definitely do what you are suggesting. I have a bad habit of waddling cause it hurts so bad. Thanks again!
Yeah, a lot of people/OBs will say it's RLP. I've had both, and SPD is really not the same kind of pain. I think they just say that because it's kind of near the same area. Hang in there and take it easy
I don't know the specific names of what it is or could be, but I know it's normal and I, too, find myself hobbling around from time-to-time. Sometimes I feel good and others, I have a hard time getting around.

I've been getting the same thing. I've had it for a month now and Dr said its from baby resting on a nerve. It hurts so bad I can barely left my feet off the ground to walk in the mornings. Hope you get feeling better.
