Boys names with a little "edge"

I would love to find boys names that I love with a little edge (think Nicholas but nn Nico)...but I am always drawn to classics when it comes to boys.

I really am liking Calvin & Samuel right now.

What boys names do you feel have some "edge" to them?

Love PP suggestion of Atticus.

Most every Roman name has that edgy feel to me, like Lucius, Marcus, Julius, Octavian, Augustus, Aurelius, Felix.

Also names with X, like Xavier and Rex, and names that end in O, like Hugo, Arlo, Otto, Carlo, Rocco.

And I think "cowboy" names can have an edge, like Cole, Dane, Wyatt, Jesse, Zane, Beau.

I saw this suggestion a while ago and loved it.. Sebastian w/ nn Bash.  Definitely think that has some edge.

I also think old school names like Tobias and Conrad are pretty cool.

I was just thinking that. Makes me want to add it to the list. Seb and Bash are cool NNs.

ETA: Alexander with NN Lex, Harvey, I love Griffin and Warren also. If you're willing to go more out there or maybe have Scandinavian heritage, Gunnar/Gunner is pretty edgy and manly.

My son is Nils, which is the Scandanavian version of Nicholas. If next baby is a boy he will be Viggo. I also like Abram with the nn Bram

Love these because we're looking for the same, I guess.

We just added Phoenix to our list, and also have some of the above- Sawyer, Leo, and Knox.

I also like Roman, Beckett, Milo, Elias, Arlo, Vincent, Vander, Victor, and Cruz.

@bobkat22 are the diesel and axel you know brothers? I know a pair.
