Mattress advice

We are overdue in getting my daughter a real mattress. She has a convertible bedframe that converts from crib to toddler bed to full adult bed. I think she has outgrown the toddler bed and is no longer comfortable.

I suspect she is going to be in this bed for a good 10 years so we will look at it as an investment. I'm not going to buy inexpensive, but we don't have a huge budget either.

I'm looking for recommendations on brands, firm, medium, plush, soft? Also, if anyone has had any luck finding a reasonably priced organic mattress I'd appreciate input on that too.

Thanks for your time!

We LOVE our kids Ikea foam mattresses. They are almost like mattress toppers but they are awesome and only $99. I prefer it to our mattress.

I recommend checking into a local, non-chain store.  Ours offers tons of options and features a brand that is made local, in our state.
