How would you pronounce or spell this name?

Corinne or Corrine? Both DH and I like the first spelling. Which do you like better? And pronouncing is a question. I shared the name idea with my uncle and grandmother, and both of them think it is pronounced Kor-een. Yet, both DH and I knew of two different Corinne's growing up and they were both pronounced Kor-Inn. So what gives, Could you pronounce it either or? Or does one pronounciation go with one spelling and different w/ the next? SO LOST!! So, your choice

I'm pretty sure Corinne is Kor-inn, but I do know a Corrine that is Kor-een.

I have known people with both spellings, both pronounced it kor-IN. I also know a woman named Corin, pronounced KOR-in.

I responded to your other post about this and I realized that my first inclination was to spell it Corrine. But I do like Corinne better. The double r makes me want to say kor-EYE-n. I would pronounce it KUH-rin. I hope that makes sense.

Corinne and KUH-rin is best. IMO

Corinne. Love this name! I know a 35 year old and an 8 year old with the name. The 8 year old gets called Rinnie sometimes as nn.

Kor-In. It kind of often comes out as Kuh-Rin too... Same thing, just lazy Boston accent.

My cousin is Corrine, pronounced Kor-inn, but growing up, her elderly babysitter always called her Kor-een, maybe it's a generational preference! I do not like the Kor-een pronunciation. And like most PPs, I prefer the spelling Corinne.
