High Risk

Im a first time mommy to be, Im 21 weeks and 2 days. My last ultrasound was just last week. My doctor called me today to tell me that they cant seem to locate all the babys fingers on his left hand..she wants to schedule me with a high risk doctor to have another ultrasound done..Im so worried..is this something that has happened to others and had their babys come out fine? is this something that i definitely need to worry about? Is he just hiding them?

Well take a breathe and relax, Ultrasounds only show SO much!! Trust me! I am high risk and this is my fourth... not planned but happy anyhow
In the next ultrasound, they will simply look more closely... but technology is flawed trust me. All my children are beyond healthy, and all of their ultrasounds picked up something funny and some point. I used to freak and stress over but, not I simply relax and take a breathe and do what I am suppose to do to take care of myself.

I think at 20 weeks I was under a pound and a half and I have GD. Now 31w baby was 4 pounds. My doctor says that it can be 3-5 pounds in either direction. you really don't know until they come out.

He could be hiding his little fingers! I wouldn't freak out yet. Relax and just roll with what the dr has you do!
