These type of post irk me

Whether it be about a daughter or son.  It's stupid.  A FB friend of mine posted this one recently.  She has a son that isn't even freaking one.  First, why is she worried about this shit now?  Second, why is she assuming every girl will be after her infant son's money and will be a slut?  No real point here, it's just annoying.

I've seen that one too and I think it's very one-sided. My concern is going to be teaching my son how to be a decent guy. I'll worry about the girls he brings home when he's 20.

I'm not a gun fan, but I think it's more of a "if you break my little girl's heart, I'll murder you" thing. 

This list is so icky. Why would you want to raise a "mama's boy"? I want my son to love me, but hopefully he'll be independent enough to make his own girlfriend decisions when the time comes.

ETA: I hit "quote" a bunch of times but it wouldn't let me.

Yes!  I will strongly advise my DD against dating a "mama's boy."  They are the worst!!!!

@TwilightMV, I completely agree. I'm ok with DS being a "mama's boy" at 9 months old, but I'm hoping he'll grow out of it well before his dating years. I want him to love me and respect me, but I don't want my son's future wife to feel threatened by me in that way or feel like she needs to compete with me for my son's affection.

What's sad is one day she will be one of those cray MILs you see a thousand posts about on 3rd Tri wanting to be in the delivery room, because it's really all about her and her son and her grandkid.
