What was the last book you read?An Exact Replica of a Figment of My Imagination by Elizabeth McCracken. I read it just after losing Izzie and found some comfort in her words. She ends the book with the line, "It is a happy life, but someone is missing. It is a happy life and someone is missing." That line just spoke to me about not needing to separate Izzie and her death from the rest of my life going forward. That she isn't a but, she is an and, in our lives.
