How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week? 19w5d - baby is half baked on Sunday. Holy wow. No idea on the fruit; I really should track that.

Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones? Had a solid OB appointment this past Tuesday; nothing again until the first week of October. That might drive me a little nuts [I haven't gone more than 2-3 weeks without an appointment since the very beginning], but that means that baby is looking great, so I'm trying to find some comfort in that. I do have a doppler that I'll use if needed.

QOTW: Did you have a baby shower for your Angel? Will you be having one this time? My baby shower was supposed to be two weeks after Devon was born sleeping...it was a small one with friends, but my sister had to tell them all what happened [they were supposed to get together to plan out the details of my shower the day we found out Devon was gone]. That sucked so bad.

I'm on the fence about having one this time, just because I don't want to plan one and then something bad happen again. I know this pregnancy is not like the last, but PgAL brain won't rest. My sister has talked about throwing one, and I'll let her if she really wants to...but I'm still nervous about it.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? Now that August is over and we made it through Devon's first angelversary, I feel so much better mentally. I hadn't realized just how stressful the whole month of August had been until September 1st hit - it was like this huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders, and I'd made it through the hardest month of the year. I'm starting to become more excited and optimistic about baby girl, and I even bought my first round of clothes for her over the weekend. I hope this feeling lasts.

How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week? 13w6d and a peach I believe. I always know at the beginning of the week but by the end of the week I am just thankful I know my name.

Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones? Have an appt on Wed and that will be the start of my weekly cervix checks.

QOTW: Did you have a baby shower for your Angel? Will you be having one this time? I didn't have one last time just because I wasn't far enough along where people had actually started planning one, but I had intended to have one. I will have one for this baby.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? Excited for my appt on Wed. We only saw Alice once on an ultrasound at 9 weeks, seeing this baby at 14.5 weeks will be really exciting. I also plan to start asking if they can tell the sex. And will ask at every appt from now on until they tell me

I am so glad August is over as well. My uncle passed away on the 1st, eight weeks after his heart transplant, Alice's EDD was the 10th and the 5 month mark of her loss was the 27th. August emotionally drained me. Here is to a happy Sept!

How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week? 4w4d still a poppyseed I think.

Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones?

I had bool work on Wednesday, today and will have more blood work next Friday. Dating U/S is booked for Sept27th and 1st OB/GYN appt is Oct10th.

QOTW: Did you have a baby shower for your Angel? Will you be having one this time? I did have one for Ian the week before we lost him. :-( I wouldn't let anyone have one for Z until after he was born. I don't think we will have one at all this time since its now my third.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? Morning sickness has kicked in the last few days. So I feel awful and I'm grateful for that. LOL!!!

I'm happy to be joining this check-in!  Sorry I've been MIA for a bit, I was on a bump break and came back after I got my BFP.  @ MrsNice, we're at the exact same point in our pregnancies. : ).  Congratulations!

 
How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week? 4 weeks, 4 days...a poppyseed.

Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones?  My next appointment is for an ultrsound on October 2nd, which is exactly one year to the day that I went in for a routine check-up and we didn't find Ava's heartbeat.  I thought about changing the appointment but I figured if we get bad news, that day will become doubly shitty and if we get good news and see a heartbeat, it will shine some light on a sorrowful day.

Will you be having one this time?  No, we didn't have a shower for Ava and weren't planning to since our DS was 2 at the time.  I still have all of DS's things from when he was a baby so there won't be a shower for this lo either.  I was team green with DS and will be team green again so I have lots of gender neutral stuff.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week?  I'm feeling releived that I got my first betas back and the numbers were high.  I know I have a looong road ahead of me, but I'm letting myself feel good about this pregnancy today.

How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week?  16 weeks, avocado.

Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones? Next appointment is A/S at the end of the month.

QOTW: Did you have a baby shower for your Angel? Will you be having one this time? We had a lovely shower for Elsie. It really was beautiful and such an exciting time. This time, I am not comfortable having one. I will consider a meet the baby after, but no shower. I kept all of her stuff, so this one should have plenty. I put away outfits that were special to her memory, but everything else will be used.  

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? Trying to close on the purchase of our house. These new regulations are ridiculous. (We are seriously being held up by the appraiser because the house needs painted inside. Hello?!?!?! We will be painting it when we move in you idiot.)

Did a quick us and checked the baby, didn't see anything wrong with him/her! Also did my fetal blood work for abnormalities, very nervous about those results to come back! Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones? Yes!  First OB appt is on Monday - FINALLY!

 QOTW: Did you have a baby shower for your Angel? Will you be having one this time? We had one planned for less than a week after Leah, Rachel and Gabriel died (we were having the shower so early at 24 weeks, because triplets come early...) and my SILs and mom and MIL were throwing a big one because we were having triplets.  I'm sure they will want to throw a shower this time, and I want to have a shower, especially since we didn't actually have the shower, but I'll definitely be nervous about scheduling it...

OB appointment on Tuesday to follow up on a scare we had last weekend (see below)

My mom hosted a beautiful baby shower for me when I was about 25 weeks pregnant with Julian. It was such a nice time to see a lot of family and friends all at once. I wasn't planning to have one this time, but my mom suggested doing something small and I was starting to warm up to the idea. I don't think it's going to happen now, though, because I don't want to travel out of state to go home next month.

I started having frequent Braxton-Hicks contractions (every 5mins) early Sunday morning, and ended up going to L&D around 3am for monitoring and testing. The contractions stopped on their own after a few hours and some IV fluids. I wasn't terrified, because baby was moving the whole time and I didn't have any other symptoms (no bleeding or cervical changes, little to no pain). I just felt shaken, and feel like I've spent the rest of this week trying to wrap my head around what happened and how I'll deal with the fear of it happening again for the next 10 weeks. Bright side: baby is growing really well (85th percentile, and measured 2 weeks ahead) and I already have the "going back to the L&D floor for the first time" hurdle cleared.

Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones?  My NT scan is Tuesday, I'm nervous but I'm so excited to see Boo again.

QOTW: Did you have a baby shower for your Angel? Will you be having one this time? No, I didn't get that far, but I was with my family and helping to plan it (they wanted my input) the day I went into labor.  We'll have one this time, but I don't want to discuss planning it until we're at least pass my loss milestone.

What is on your mind this week?  Just hoping everything goes ok....wishing I could fast forward to March and see that my baby will be alright so I can enjoy the rest of my pregnancy and relax.  Like on The Time Traveler's Wife.  Once her husband traveled to the future and saw their 9-ish year old daughter, they could then relax knowing she wouldn't travel out of the womb again and miscarry.

yes we had a shower really early i think i was around 17 weeks.  We did it so early bc we were home visiting for Thanksgiving and wouldn't be back again before she was born.  Not planning on having one this time, but hoping to have a meet the baby shower after this LO is born.

I can't believe this. I'll be 5 weeks tomorrow, which means appleseed?

Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones? First appt is 9/20. The nurse is talking to my doctor now and will be calling me back with anything else.

I got the invite to my daughter's baby shower the day of our 2nd ultrasound, which was when we got our horrible news. 

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? I am freaking out. I had drinks this weekend, I took lorazepam the last few days for anxiety. I'm hoping I didn't already eff this up. I'm hope like hell this is our one. I just can't believe this. This could all crash down on me at any moment. I'm trying so hard not to get caught up in that emotion though.

Hi girls...new to this board. I lost my angel in January at 24 weeks. Most painful day of my life my poor angel had triploidy and spina bifida among other problems. I just found out the day after my birthday about this glorious surprise I just hope there are more rainbows than tears at the end for all of us. So hopefully we can mend our broken Hearts together.

How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week? 7 weeks 2 days I believe and a blueberry.

Do you have any up upcoming appointments or milestones? My first appt. is September 23.

Did you have a baby shower for your angel? Will you be having one this time? No I was a month ahead of my shower and I hope I will.
