I had a horrible time with things coming off of it after people bought things!! At my first shower I had to return a ton of duplicates because things didnt come off. People told me they watched the cashier scan the paper and it still wasn't removed. I think it's working better now but I've given my login info to my mom and SIL and they have been taking things off when they know its been purchases. Sort of a pain but oh well
I haven't had an issue with the entire registry showing up, but I did get several duplicates because items weren't coming off the registry. It sucks, but Target is really good about returns so even though it's a hassle to go into the store, they don't make it difficult to return things and get store credit.
Have any of you had trouble with items coming off of a BRU registry? It's been awful for me! My mom even called the store a week after she purchased something (thinking it might take a bit of time to update) and they gave her the run around but finally took it off my registry.
I think I'm in the minority because I loooooove my target registry. I love that I can move stuff on and off all the time and it's awesome that they are so chill about returns.
I haven't necessarily had problems with my registry other than the website being difficult to navigate and bring slow. But their return policy is AWFUL! I didn't realize you can only return $70 of merchandise per year! We got a lot of duplicates on our registry, so that sucked.

Oh wow that sucks! Is that just stuff without a receipt??

I was just wondering if this is different per store/regional after reading comments about things being easy to return. I went into my local Target the other day and the lady at customer service told me that for anything I didn't have a gift receipt for, I could only return up to $150 of it. I figure whatever they don't take back, I'll just take to WalMart and get store credit (assuming that they have the same product).

If you are returning things from your registry go to the registry kiosks and print off a list of purchases. As long as you show it is from your registry it doesn't count against your annual return limit.

I assume it was merchandise without a receipt. I did print out my registry for her though and she said it didn't matter. Bad experience all around.

That's so strange. It must depend on location I guess. I wasn't even trying to get the money back, I just wanted to exchange for other things.
I haven't really looked at my Target one because it was just done for the discount. My Babies R Us was the same thing and when I went to print it last weekend to use my discount it was missing an entire page of items (which were the items I really wanted to use the discount on). It took some time and patience but eventually I got it to find my missing items.

It's the same policy in all targets. You just need to print your registry log number or a gift receipt and they use it to process the return. They do not cap you at 70 that's only if you don't have anything whatsoever, then they use your license.

True story. I just did this today. The employee at the service desk had me print a purchase log from the kiosk (which is different than a copy of your full registry) and she used it to give me full price refunds on everything. It was well over $150 (lots of duplicates, unfortunately) and she didn't bat an eye. She even added the credit to a gift card I received today at my work shower, so it's all on one card. Niiice.
I haven't had any trouble finding my registry (online or in store). I've just had awful time finding things physically in store!
Same here! Our Target had the stuff when I registered about 2 months before the shower and a few weeks before, they only carried about 20% of it! Super frustrating!
I haven't had any problems with my Target registry yet. I've been pretty diligent about checking it so I can remove and replace anything that isn't in stock any more. However, my shower is tomorrow, so my opinion might change. I'll let you know if it does.

This has been my experience too ... even if the item wasn't on my registry, if I print the gift purchase log, they'll let me return it for store credit.
To the PP who said they told you only 70 bucks, go back and talk to a different employee. Or a different target. That's just crazy
