Re: ~~~FFFC~~~

  • I don't have any confession, so I'll just put down a random observation.  I used to think summer was my favorite season.  Now I'm pretty sure I just liked it because I was out of school.  Fall is so much better!  We left the windows open last night and it's almost cold enough in the house to put the heat on.  I love it.  I can't wait to go for a walk with DS today and have a pumpkin spice coffee.
  • @stoneycakes- I love fall, too! I am so excited to take DS to the pumpkin patch this year, I have butterflies in my stomach just thinking about it! I'm such a nerd! :p

I confess that DS got to watch cartoons almost all day yesterday b/c I had a stomach bug. I was so sick that I called DH to see if he could take the day off. He talked his boss into letting him work from home, but since he couldn't get his work computer to work wirelessly with our network, he wound up holed up in the den while I still took care of DS.

  • Oh, I have another. My fertile time for this month (I don't know what you call it really) is about to end. DH and I had talked a little bit about TTC this month, and I'm just a tad relieved that it's not going to happen. (He won't even kiss me right now until I get over this bug.) I have a friend who was going to TTC starting in August, and I don't know yet if it happened for her. I am a little bit worried that she will be disappointed or think I'm trying to steal the spotlight if I got KU this early b/c DH and I only recently started talking about having another, whereas she has been trying to talk her DH into trying for 6 months or so.

  • I love fall too!!

I confess that my parents are here for the weekend. My dad was thinking about not coming so it would just be my mom, and I was kind of hoping he wouldn't. I love my dad tons, but sometimes it's like taking care of another baby.

I wouldn't worry about other people's family planning when making decisions about yours.  There will always be a reason to delay if you think about it that way.  I was TTC for 3 years before I got pregnant.  I was maybe three weeks pregnant and on bedrest due to ruptured cyst, when she came over to hang out with me.  She told me "I think I'm ovulating tonight and we decided to see what happens, so I may leave early"  she called me two weeks later and was KU.  Life happens, I was thrilled for her and I did not feel like she was stealing my spot light in the least.  If anything I was excited to have someone to be pregnant with.

  • @ABColeslaw, I hope that you are right and she wouldn't be upset. I don't think she would, but since she was so specific about wanting to start right now, it just seems like I decided to go for it b/c she is, too. KWIM? In any case, DS was conceived in September, so I'm thinking that it would be nice to have at least a month between his birthday and the next LO's birthday if we get our "druthers."

  • I agree with @chickypoo2468 and @ABColeslaw. Having been the one suffering through IF I know it sucks, but you can't expect the world to wait around on you. Turns out the world keeps spinning even when it feels like it's stopped. And if they haven't mentioned they have IF, then she shouldn't be sensitive. Get on the baby makin train if you are ready!

  • I had a sex dream about a coworker. It was super strange and him and I hardly interact at all. And it wasn't really him in the dream... Like it was his name but not exactly how he looked, lol. Much more attractive in my dream state.

Also, Wednesday was the first time in a long time we dtd. It was weird, tight and awkward. I'm not looking forward to it again.
