Slow Eaters

I swear I could literally watch paint dry completely before this kid finished a meal. He's been working on lunch for over an hour now. He's happy, not fussing, not throwing (!) and clearly hungry, just slowly picking away at his tacos and fruit.

Is this normal or do I have to add this to the list of reasons why Owen is a circus freak?

Nope not alone. Takes years for this kid to eat. Drives me nuts.

K has recently gotten pickier about eating. He used to gobble everything up lickety split and now he picks at it, only eats about 50%, if that. He also rejects a lot of things he used to eat. Its frustrating.

I have noticed, however, that if I give him just a little bit at a time instead of putting his whole meal in front of him at once, he seems to eat it faster and with less picking things out.

Must be an Owen thing because my 3 year old is the slowest damn eater on the planet... unless it's dessert. 8-|

We've resorted to using a timer... argh!
