Hello! I haven't posted in a while & wondering if this is the best board for me? >35 & Persuing IVF

I used to participate in this board when my DH and I were trying to conceive naturally ~ I'm 38 and he's 42.  We were charting, I was ovulating each month like clockwork but we weren't having any success.  DH got an SA and low and behold, his numbers were very poor and we are heading into IVF with ICSI.  Do you think this board or the Infertility board be better suited for me?  Thanks!
Me: 38, DH: 42
Pursuing IVF w/ICSI due to MFI
Me: 600mg CoQ10 and 75mg DHEA daily
DH: Clomid and a fertility vitamin/mineral/herb blend daily

2/2006 - Lost baby girl at 20 weeks due to incompetent cervix
10/2012 - Pre-pregnancy transabdominal cerclage placed

    Hi and welcome back.

    A lot of ladies here are pursuing different fertility treatments, so you may find that both boards suit you. 

    Either way, best wishes with TTC :)

    My Ovulation Chart


    Me: 41 DH: 46. We are TTC our 1st, started July '11,
    3 cycles clomid with Ob,
    1 cycle Tamoxifen with Ob,
    Diagnosed PCOS 11/5/12
    clomid, trigger & timed bd 12/12 BFN
    1st clomid IUI 1/4/13 BFN.
    2nd clomid IUI 2/13 cancelled didn't respond to clomid.
    3/15/13 scheduled laparoscopy & on bcp.

    May 10 IUI from injectibles - BFN 

    May 22 done with interventions it will either happen or it won't. 

    February 2014 No longer actively trying, but not preventing. 

    SURPISE BFP 4/2/2015!!!!!!!!!!

    Miscarriage 4/23/15

    Me:36 DH:38 TTC#1 since 4/2012
    Me DX: Hashimotos,Hypothyroid, DOR, MTHFR,  DH: normal

     IUI #1-#4 BFNs and a few cancelled cycles in the mix.
    - poor responder
    ***Suprise BFP on 6/13/13. Natural MC @6wks 3days
    IVF#1 and 2- Cancelled due to no response on max stimms
    FET 5/20- BFP
    1st Beta- 641
    2nd beta- 2166
    Sono- TWINS!!!!
    Two Boys! Born January 2015 @36 weeks.  Healthy and no NICU!  So blessed!

    I did IVF. I was only on this board so I can't say which is better. I chose this board because people were both AMA and doing IVF so their issues for not being able to conceive were similar to mine. My husband also had low motility and we did ICSI. Let me know if you have any questions. It's not easy (but not terrible) and it goes by fast. Keep us posted.
    Me:39 Dx LPD, Fibroid, AMA and all that goes with that. H:37 Dx low motility and low morphology. TTC since 3/12. Clomid 8/12 and 9/12: BFN. 11/12 on a break for Myomectomy sched. 11/26. Resume TTC early 2013.

    Welcome, Kerry. I did the same as MarylandWed... but, I did lurk over on IF for some of the specific questions that I had with my IVF cycle.....best of luck to you!

    Post on both, you don't have to choose.
    We are a little on the laid back side here( not too much drama) so it's a nice safe place to post without fear of offending any one with questions.
    Because we are AMA most of us are dealing with infertility so I don't think you could go wrong with us.
