XP: Fuzzibunz, am I sizing wrong?

LO finally is up to 8 pounds, woot!, which means we can finally put her in her CDer's. Only issue is, I can't seem to figure out my Fuzzibunz. I followed the instructions and they were huge. Tightened them as much as possible, and you can still see up her leg to her butt they're that loose. I thought they were supposed to fit 8 pound babies. I know they'll work later, but it'd be nice to use the 4 that I have now since LO goes through so many a day. Any advice from others? Is LO still too small?

I have the same issue. I am confused when others say they were among the first to fit, my LO is 11lbs and they are huge even with the elastic set to the smallest setting. He has no problem fitting Blueberry and Alvs OS.

Most OS diapers claim to fit at 8 lbs, but I've never seen any that actually do. Most don't fit until 10 lbs or so, but it really depends on when the baby's legs fill out. Most newborn legs are just too skinny. My youngest is 7 weeks and 12 lbs and just now fitting in the smallest leg size of my old style FB elite. She's just now chunking up enough!

My LO was 9 days old when FB elite OS fit, approx 7.5lbs. They weren't as small as they could go either, though the PUL was so scrunched I don't know if I could've gotten them much smaller. Are they the new ones that came out this year? If so they are a wider cut and that could be the difference. Mine were bought late 2012 right before the new ones were released.

Have you tightened them on both sides of each leg?  I have old style one size FB and they fit pretty much right away.  My DD was about 8 pounds at birth and didn't gain very quickly at all.

I'm seconding they might be the new version. The old style gt super small! I feel like the leg holes were 1.5" in diaper! My guy chunked up fast though and was fitting into bg OS at 3.5 weeks. I'm sure the FB would have fit sooner than that though. And BG is typically known to fit larger than FB.
