Finally introducing myself

I think I've been a dirty lurker long enough.

FTM/Team Vagina. Baby Girl is due on January 4th. We're currently calling her Eden River, but my sci-fi loving dude keeps trying to push for Serenity or Babylon (no thanks).

I just turned 30 last week, and my BF of 7 years turns 31 next month. We have one dog (a basset/german shepherd mix), three cats, and an african house snack. Oh, and my dad lives with us. He's battled throat and lung cancer over the past several years, and I couldn't stand the thought of him living alone.

We're originally from Missouri, but moved to the DC/Northern Virginia area this past January for my job. It's definitely been a big year of change.
