Period after ER

So I'm having my ER tomorrow, and we're freezing everything and doing FET after my next cycle.  How long was it before you got your period after RE if you didn't do a fresh ET?

It was pretty quick after the ER - maybe 4-5 days after?  But the next cycle was 36 days for me (my normal is 29-30 days).  I wasn't sure if you were cycling the very next cycle or not. Since I had OHSS and my ovaries were huge, my RE wanted me to have a normal cycle before my FET.  Good luck!

My nurse said it would be 2 weeks from trigger and she was pretty much dead on. it came 14 days 8 hours after trigger.

My Doctor said the same. 2 weeks.

@Praying4Miracle17 I don't have a to wait a full cycle, but I do have OHSS.  My ovaries are like eggplants, it's so painful to sit, walk, pee, breathe, etc.  Hopefully tomorrow will provide some relief!  I typically don't have "normal" cycles, so there has to be intervention no matter what.  Obviously I'll be closely monitored and if they think I need to wait longer then we will, but hopefully not!  I'm ready to get this show on the road :-)

@FutureMrsW9 - that's great you don't have to wait!  At first I was disappointed, but knowing that I wanted to have the perfect environment for the embryos made me OK for waiting.  Good luck!

if your not taking meds after probably within the week you'll get your period. when it was a bfn for us and we were removed from meds it came 2 days later.

Yeah, no meds (other than the tylenol w/codeine ;-) ) since we're not doing a fresh cycle, so hopefully AF will come soon so we can get the FET cycle going :-)

My nurse told me 8-10 days after ER, and sure enough, it was exactly 10 days!  Hope that helps.

I too was told a week to 10 days since I have low progesterone without meds. I'm on day 6 post-ER so we will see.
