I lost my job on Friday. I've been interviewing this week, and I can't say I feel confident.... I'm a nervous wreck in interviews and usually take a valium so I don't come across as talking too much, but just in case, I didn't take anything. AF is due in 4 days, and I don't know what to expect. I can't wait any longer to TTC. Of course, that will make this job search more difficult, so then, I hope I'm not, so I can get a job soon, and then we can TTC this month. It will be an equally difficult conversation to have with my new boss to explain I'm P during training at my new job, but I'm not waiting any longer.
I'm broke, anxious, and 38 years old. Looks like that gallon of ice cream is calling my name.
I am sorry- I know you are overwhelmed and stressed. Just take it one day at a time and what is meant to be will be. Praying for you.

Sorry you feel anxious. Go on your interviews and if you do get a BFP in a few days don't tell them. If you get hired they cannot let you go because you are pregnant. You will have 8 months to work before you have the baby. Like pp said take it pun day at a time. I wish you well and my thoughts are with you.
So sorry you lost your job but what will happen will and enjoy what ever comes your way. Just believe all things happen for a reason.....believe and you will get through this difficult time.
That truly sucks, but don't let job searching stop you from ttc, it may take awhile, and like others said you will have plenty of time to work before baby. Just take it one day at time, keep healthy and positive!
I agree - just keep ttc. Best of luck with your job search!! I have been laid off and it's no fun!
Me:39 Dx LPD, Fibroid, AMA and all that goes with that. H:37 Dx low motility and low morphology. TTC since 3/12. Clomid 8/12 and 9/12: BFN. 11/12 on a break for Myomectomy sched. 11/26. Resume TTC early 2013.
Many thanks for your words of encouragement. I allowed myself to sulk for most of the day, and now it's time to move on. Sigh..... it's always something, isn't it??
Sorry you are having a hard time with all of this. Just breathe and wishing you all the best on your job search.
Your LO is adorable. Oh btw...did you atleast enjoy the ice cream? If you didn't I had some for you and me! Lol

Don't sweat it too much, I was in between jobs when I got pregnant at 38 and was 14 weeks pregnant when I started my new job. I didn't say anything about my pregnancy at the interview (you don't have to and legally they can't ask) and since my boss was a 50 year old bitter divorced woman with no kids, you can bet your butt she wouldn't have hired me if she knew I was pregnant at the interview. And I needed a job and insurance. So... she nearly fell off her chair when I finally told her the news a month into my job. She was mad. But you know what? I never missed a single work day during my pregnancy and worked hard. At the end she loved me and when I finally switched jobs a year later, she was sad to see me go. You have to do what's best for you and your family. Good luck!
