I think most of us would suggest charting your cycles to confirm ovulation and time sex appropriately. check out www.fertilityfriend.com for more information.
If you go off the pill, and have symtomps of Endo (heavy periods, cramps, etc), then I would not hesitate to follow up with your GYN about getting an lap to see if you do indeed have it.
Best of luck to you!
b/w=FSH 15.6, AMH 0.4 surprise natural BFP on 3/12/11 DS born via unplanned C-section at 40w6d
I suffered a MC before my current PG so I understand your fears, but the fact that you suffered a loss does not necessarily mean you will again. A certain % of pregnancies end in MC and it has no bearing on future pregnancies.
Also, I had a cervical cone biopsy before having my DS and had no issues whatsoever with cervical incompetence during that PG. My OB said he will monitor me closely during this PG to ensure I don't have any issues, but the fact that I was good last time is a good sign.
FInally, I am 41. There are lots of 35+ PG women on these boards. There are some increased risks at 37, but the risks increase gradually over time. It is not as if all the sudden everything in your body fails on a certain day.
I try not to dwell on the risks and just enjoy the fact that I am PG every day (as much as I can with feeling sick, exhausted, etc.). I have a great OB who is at a great hospital so I know I am in good hands.
I just suffered a loss so I know that pain and fear that goes with that. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
Since you have some health issues ( endo etc.) I would wait a few months to try and get your body regulated off the pill and if you don't get pregnant follow up with an RE who can do some testing on you and see if you need further treatment like a lap etc... In the meantime just try and be as healthy as possible and learn as much as you can. @jb2rn gave you excellent advice about fertilityfriend and I also reccomend reading Taking-Charge-Fertility.
Welcome and good luck!

Congrats on losing 30lbs. That is a good start to ttc. I agree with the others about the charting. Also start taking prenatal vitamins. The extra folate in them is good for trying to get pregnant and they say to start it 3 months before starting. So welcome to the board and good luck.
Welcome! Since I never have had a bfp I cannot begin to imagine what it feels like to lose a pregnancy. I wish you the best of luck, the rest of us are here for support!
