A friend of mine is a photographer that works closely with a group called Celebrating Adoption. The group focuses on photographing families as they celebrate the arrival of their new babies.
Anyway - I want to thank all of you ladies for doing what you're doing. Both my husband & I are adopted children and from first hand experience, you all are the lights of the world.
Re: Passing this along.
Yeah, isn't that awesome? We were in contact with one of the photographers after DD was born, but she suggested we wait until she was sitting independently and able to stand holding onto something (from her experience, she said that would be the best time to get good pics). We played email tag for a long time, and then we ended up missing each other. Now we're past the one year deadline... oh well. But it is a really cool organization!
That is really sweet, but I can tell you that YOU (the children) are the lights of OUR (the parents) world. I can't imagine my life without my daughter... she is everything to me!
BTW, your son is a cutie!
Aw, thanks! I think he's pretty amazing myself, but ... I could be a little biased.
It's true, what I said. The men and women that are willing to open their hearts, their souls, and their homes to give a child the life s/he deserves, it amazes me. You all have made a decision that's beyond amazing; it's something that you deserve to be recognized for.
