Induction rates by country

More of an academic question:  Anyone know where I could find induction rates by country?  I'd be particularly interested in reading induction guidelines or obtaining rates from countries like Singapore or Iceland or Japan that have lower neonatal mortality rates than we do.  I can't seem to find anything reliable on google, but maybe I'm just using the wrong search terms?

I tried to quickly search via www.pubmed.com.  This site has scientific articles published in per reviewed journals.  I am only able to do a quick search right now because I have a meeting  but if you play around with your search words you may be able to find what you are looking for.  You may want to search specific types of induction to see if that brings something up.

The only articles I found was one done with 8 latin American countries and one in the US.  If you do find an article and it isn't open access let me know and I may be able to get a copy for you.  GL!

Here is an article I found about induction rates in Africa and Asia.  It may have some of the info you are looking for japan and Singapore.

You may want to look into this study done by the WHO- WHO Global Survey on Maternal and Perinatal Health (WHOGS).  it may have info as well.

@aylafsu88 - you rock!  I've got lots to dig through.  The last article mentions Japan's 19% induction rate, though nothing on Singapore.  It's an interesting read.  Thank you!

You might have more luck searching for induction rates in Nordic countries, rather than just Iceland :-) Any info about Iceland should be included in there.
