Elmo's learning adventure

We got this thing in the mail for Elmo's learning adventure. You get some free books and activity books, then they send you more that you pay for and can supposedly cancel at any time. It's tempting to take the free gift and then cancel but I'm worried it might be a scam or really hard to actually cancel. Has anyone else gotten this in the mail? Any thoughts? I tend to be cautious so I'll probably just trash it.

We got it free in the mail a few times. I never paid for the activity books but it seems legit. The books are so flimsy they eventually were used up for homework projects, destructed by the kids or thrown away.
