We haven't had one in awhile. So, how's everyone doing? Any milestones or accomplishments?

I've fallen off the wagon. I haven't worked out since last Wednesday, and I haven't been eating as well as I should. I'm still down 4 pounds from 3 weeks ago, so I made a little progress. I'm getting my butt back in gear today. Oh and I can now do 20 pushups where a few weeks ago 10 was a struggle.

DH and I started the Paleo diet about 2 months ago. Things are going well in that department. We don't have cheat days because we feel like crap the next day. Iam doing a trial membership at the local gym. I have been doing classes with them Monday- Thursday, and also Saturday.
Finishing c25k this week, and then starting to work more on speed for my runs. Also, going to try upping my weights on a few of the machines I use at the gym.
I'm drinking too much coffee, and not enough water. I don't know why it is so hard for me to hydrate myself. This is why I am at a stand still in weight loss.

I feel like Paleo would be a really hard switch for us. I'd like to do something of an in between of that and what I'm currently doing. Did you have any issues making the change?
I'm also really interested in paleo. Partly bc both my aunt and sister lost a significant amount of weight this way. How bad is the adjustment? I feel like it'd be way top restrictive, but I hear so many good things about it, its hard to not be tempted to at least try.
Paleo is a whole other ball game. It is no processed foods, no carbs, and no fake sugar. It is very heavy in root veggies, sweet potatoes, and meat, lots and lots of meat. Basically, what ever the cavemen had access to, you can eat.
The adjustment period is hard, but after a while, it gets alot easier. It is so worth it though. I have arthritis in my hands that has almost completely gone away, my DH's cholesterol is way down. My mom was a diabetic for almost 45 years, since she started Paleo last year, her diabetes has gone away, and her blood sugar is normal.

TBH, paleo probably wouldn't be impossinle in my house, considering as long as I serve a hefty portion of meat and veggies for dinner, MH won't balk at it. I really should try this. Itd probably help tremendously with my carb/sweey cravings.
On the paleo topic, I switched about 4 months ago. The first six weeks were hard for me, but now it's too the point where I avoid the worse foods because I know I will be miserably bloated the next day. My overall health and body just functions better.
I've been trying to cut down carbs in general (my diet was way carb-heavy!) and eat clean[er], so Paleo might not be terrible for me. I would hate to make DH and SD change their diets for me, though. And I sure as hell am not cooking three dinners. That's my biggest hesitation right now.
Look at it this way though. Because they made the change with you, they are eating healthier. After we started Paleo, we realized just how much junk was added into the food we where eating before.
If you are on the fence, I highly recommend the Books Well Fed, and It starts with food. It starts with food was very interesting, and gives you a 7 day diet plan.

I almost peed over that @ReeseFox. I took the twins for a walk today though. Does that count? I lost exactly one sippy cup, a sock, and my sanity. So really...cake.
LOL. That absolutley counts @s0ulchicken. Have two pieces. )

@spooko In the interest of full disclosure, I can only do "girl" pushups. I've never done a real one in my life.

ETA- Eating Paleo style is FAR from cheap though.
