GTKY...::Facepalm::

Cable/Internet guy was here to install our new system, and it was DS' naptime. I told him I'd be in the bedroom with DS and to knock if he needed anything or when the installation was complete. When he knocked, I had been nursing DS but jumped out of bed to get the door. DID NOT NOTICE boob sticking out the top of my shirt!!!

He didn't say anything, but he HAD TO have noticed. No way a stray nipple goes unseen. I'm so so embarrassed. I know we just moved, but I'm ready to move again...far far far away. :P

GTKY: Please share your most embarrassing LO-related stories! Or just your most embarrassing moment ever! I need the laugh and the empathy!

  • Good for him for keeping his cool about it!

    At my babys 2 week checkup, I had a total ugly cry meltdown when the nurse weighed her because I read the scale wrong (didnt understand the decimals) and thought she had lost over a pound. I was so relieved when the pedi came in and told me how wrong I was!

  • So sorry about the flashing!

    I'm thinking mine had to involve white pants and a blowout. I can't think of any BFing ones.

  • Oh my goodness! Lol!
    I snuck away during a wedding reception to go BF, and when I came back my dress was totally unbuttoned and you could see my bra...but I didn't even realize until I looked at my camera and saw myself in a picture I had a teenage boy from my church take. So at least no nip in mine, but still...

  • Oh my gosh! Mine is similar.

    When I'm home alone during the day with my son I wear him a lot and usually with my shirt down over my boob. Well my father in law came in one day and we made small talk and then he slowly backed away and walked out the door. It seemed a little weird but I didn't think much of it until I realized my boobs were still out, ah!!

    When I had my second child I was anxious to get home to my first child. I tried to convince my ob to let me out early and he was on board until I developed some complications. At one point I was sobbing because I didn't feel well and wanted to go home. At that moment the doctor and a group of interns walked in. I was nursing at the same time and was topless. Usually when someone was coming in I'd cover the breast that my child wasn't latched to but at this point I didn't care. The doctor asked me what was wrong and I was topless, ugly crying saying "I...want...to...go...home like a child. Poor interns. Lol

  • One of my best friends is very uncomfortable around babies. He's a teacher and loves kids, but babies are NOT his thing. I finally convinced him to come over and meet my 7wo. Within 5 minutes of him getting there, LO had a blow out that went all over the baby, down my leg, and all over the couch. I was mortified and grossed out. To his credit, he didn't run away screaming. On top of all of it, I changed so fast that when he left I realized I had thrown my yoga pants on inside out. Oy!
