Hump Day!  (Does anyone else think of that camel commercial EVERY TIME I post this?  Just me?)  Let's see 'em!

QOTD: Let's talk nick names!  Do you have a nick name for your LOs?  Are the nick names based off of their real name, or something completely different?  Do you and your SO have nick names for each other?

We call DD banana, princess or baby. Me and hubby don't really do nicknames, besides babe or hun.

I had a hard time picking just one picture today. First one is at a local heritage festival we went to over the weekend. We bought the wings there for her Halloween costume.

Second picture is Hannah enjoying a French fry at the mall. I just love her expression!

Whenever you say "cheese" E turns her head like this.  I guess that's her picture pose.  (Also, who stole my baby and replaced her with a big kid?)

QOTD: E's initials are EMJ, so we call her emjay sometimes.  Since her first name is E, people always seem confused about her nick name, but oh well.  We like it.  MH and I call each other "punk" which is short for "punkin" which I jokingly started calling him when we first started dating.

Side note, quick T&P to everyone in H-town.  An incident at a HS, heartbreaking.

QOTW: we call S "punkin" a lot - I'm not really sure how that started. DH and I often call each other "smooch", so sometimes we call S "Baby Smooch." :-)

Here's a pic of S in her favorite chair. Not sure what we were doing but she was certainly cracking up! When she laughs, she laughs allllll overrrr!!

Lo's nick name is just B. Problem is I should never have named DS a B name. I all the time mean to say his name and call him the dogs name and vice versa! Oops!

Husband - always call him babe or turtle (always thought he had a turtle nose haha)
mine - he use to call me JD which I hateeeeed  because I loved jelly donuts. Thank god he doesn't call me it anymore.

I love the hump day commercial!

A has a ton of nicknames. We seem to use one for a few weeks and then another name takes over. Lately it's been Baby Cakes, Squishy or Bean. I call DH by his last name a lot. I think that started back in high school. I can't think of a nickname that DH uses for me. Does PITA count, lol?!

Here is A waking up in the morning, all smiles! And no, this is not where I lay her down at night. She is such a wiggle worm!

@TJ1979 the HS incident was really close to where we live, thank God it was not DH's school, but very sad indeed

ETA: we call Kieran "KJ" and I call them both "Baby doll"... I call C "Toots McGoo" sometimes when he's quite gassy lol

@Ducky719 I'm not trying to get you to disclose.  We certainly don't want drama around here!  But you've got me curious.  I got E's done when she was 5 months.  I know getting babies' ears pierced is controversial, but I'm so glad we did it!

I call Grayson "G" a lot. I also call him papa and bubs. DH and I call each other B. It started from DH calling me B Loves and shortened to B. Even our friends call us both B sometimes since we use that 99% of the time when we talk to each other.

Apollo turned 7 on August 28th, so we celebrated and took some pictures

We call DD Haddy, derived from Hadley, but not all the time. We also call her Bean, which stuck since I was pregnant with her.

We do not have nicknames for each other, which is kind of weird, I guess!

LOL @TJ1979 !  I actually had to think about it. Sometimes he calls me Sar and I'll call him Ar, or babe once in awhile. But most of the time I think we just say nothing!

@mg0202 Love that she barrels through stuff.  I can totally picture it!  E is ridiculously careful trying to skirt around objects.  She will turn sideways and suck in her big ole belly and scoot to make sure she doesn't accidentally bump into things.

We call L Punkin, Cookie, Peanut or L. H calls him Mini Me bc he looks so much like him.

H and I don't really have nicknames. I call him babe sometimes and likes to joke around and use really cheesy ones like Pookie, Sweetie Pie, etc. for me.

L does this hysterical eyebrow raise that cracks me up every time!

I call LO "pumpkin" and "poopy pants"  constanty so I guess that's his nick name lol.  SO and I have the typical nick names like babe, and honey..we are so generic.

We call O Poopy, Snaps (because all his clothing has snaps), O, Owey. DH calls me prilly. He was trying to say pretty but it came out prilly so it stuck. I call him an abbreviation of his first and middle name which I can't write down as its my password for many of my accounts!
