Popcorn Bar

So instead of doing a candy buffet, I'm thinking of doing a "popcorn bar" because, well, I don't really like candy and I love popcorn. There are two ways to do this, which would you prefer as a guest.

I would prefer the first option.  I hate when popcorn flavor disappears after the first few handfuls.  I'd be going back for more cheese instead of sitting and enjoying my popcorn.

I love bar style parties... but the ones I do depend on the age groups I am dealing with... I may even mix the two as I like to go over board...lol Also just wondering if you have seen pinterest ...I myself love it.

I would just like to say that I love milk duds and popcorn together. Or, m&Ms and popcorn so even though you don't like candy, you should have those on hand. Also, chocolate and white chocolate syrup to drizzle on popcorn with crunched up peppermint.

I just did this for my daughter's Halloween party...we did one kind of popcorn with different seasonings and add-ins. The girls LOVED it. Here is a before pic. I hadn't dumped the popcorn yet. I also included tiny sugar cookies, rice krispie treats and cake pops.

We're doing a popcorn bar for DS's 1st bday party, too, although I was thinking a few kinds of popcorns with fun candy and nuts to add in

Since people keep replying I thought I'd do an update.   The popcorn bar was a huge hit.  I made three flavors - Parmesan Truffle, Maple Bacon, and Chile Lime and people helped themselves.  I ended up making waaaaay to much, so we had leftovers, but overall the guests really enjoyed them.
