You guys may not remember me - I wasn't here very long last time.  I was 35 when we started TTC our first.  It was quick for us that time, and we were blessed with a sweet little boy who will be a year old in just a couple of weeks.  Now we are TTC again.  It's our third month trying, which isn't long, but for some reason, I'm feeling apprehensive about it.  I'm 36 (soon to be 37) and am not in the best shape - still some pregnancy weight left over, I'm afraid.  

I'm starting OPKs next week.  I've never done those before, so it should be interesting.  I charted temperature last time, but with a baby who still sometimes wakes up at 3:30 a.m. I know I won't be able to get a consistent 4 hours of sleep before waking up at 6 a.m., so I'm trying OPKs instead.  

Anyway, just wanted to say hello!

Also, if someone can help me remove this obnoxious signature, I would appreciate it.  It's not in my sig box anymore, but keeps showing up!

Welcome.
You got pregnant right away with your first and it wasn't too long ago so I think your chances are pretty good. Three months is nothing in the ttc AMA world.
If you are a little overweight it can affect your ovulation and opk's only tell you if you have a surge of LH. Not if you actually ovulate. But it won't hurt to try with them.

As far as the sigi I am mobile and can't see it but there have been a ton of threads about fixing them since the latest changes. Just type " fix sigi" or anything like that in the search bar and you should find posts on fixing with the new forum.

Thanks, ladies.  Since I couldn't fix the sig, I just made a new account.  Very irritating!  Anyway, thank you for the advice and the good lucks.  

I actually hadn't realized that a positive OPK didn't mean ovulation, so I'm back to temping, just to be safe.  I'm not sure how accurate that's going to be with the night wake-ups, but we shall see.
