Why doesn't Curious George have a tail?

Why would you send a monkey on errands like grocery shopping and expect things to go well?

Why is Daniel Tiger's dad so creepy?

Why is there a T-rex hatching in a nest with a bunch of Terydactyls?  What was that mom up to?  And why are they called teranadons now?  Is this like when they decided Pluto wasn't a planet?  How the hell do you spell either of those?

These are the things that keep me awake at night.

That man with the Yellow Hat is downright neglectful!  I've seen George move stop signs, take apart the water pipes in his building, and all sorts of other terrible things!  "Be a good little monkey!"  YOU KNOW IT'S NOT POSSIBLE!  What are you even off doing, sir?  You don't seem to have a girlfriend so where the heck do you go????

George doesn't have a tail because he is a chimp... which means he is actually an APE, but in the time the original books were written people didn't concern themselves with such trivial details.  :P

And Daniel Tiger's dad has been creepy (and yet cute) since HE was the original Daniel Tiger.  He's always been a little... off. Still, he has nothing on Lady Elaine!

Pterodactyl is actually a subtype of pterosaurs, which is the general classification for the flying dinosaurs.  The Pterodactylus and Pteranodon are actually different. 

Yeah... my kids only watch PBS and my 3 year old has a long standing George obsession!!

He works at the museum... I think he and Professor Wiseman have been "studying bones".

Why is Pluto Mickey's pet dog and Goofy is free to wander and engage in whatever nonsense he pleases, with that awful voice?

 And why are they called teranadons now?  Is this like when they decided Pluto wasn't a planet?  How the hell do you spell either of those? Pteranodon is their species. and actually not a dinosaur at all.
