MIL is driving me nuts!

So, my MIL sends a text message over the weekend that contains a photo of a strawberry costume that she bought for my daughter to wear for Halloween. It made me angry because I already planned on making my daughters Halloween costume. I know that I don't have to use hers - but I just wish she'd call before spending the money, assuming that I don't have plans already. She should know better, I started planning my daughters 1st Birthday party a few weeks after she was born, ha ha! My husband told her she was too late that we already had plans for her costume this year, to which she replied that we could use it for her school costume. Ugh, she just doesn't get it. I'm sure she was just excited and thought it was cute, but she's got to think that I might want to buy/make a costume for my daughter. It's one of the fun things I've been looking forward to about having a daughter - at least until she starts picking out her own costumes.

Let her dress up LO in her costume on her own time- a special Granny visit or something.  You get to do what you want for your holiday celebrations!

My MIL has never bothered me about anything and every night I get down on my knees and thank the Lord for that.
