Really well. It'd been so long since I'd been on skates that I fell almost as soon as my skates touched the track. But I got really comfortable really quickly and started catching onto what my coach was teaching me pretty quickly as well.
I just kept thinking about this gif, lol:
The wost part, I think, is that after conditioning at the beginning of practice and being in "derby position" (see: squatting) for two hours while also keeping my core engaged and just generally using muscles I forgot existed in my body...
Everything hurts. In a good way. But still. Ouch. So glad I get three days of recovery.
