Zoe and Open Heart surgey tomorrow

Some of you may have seen my post that my little girl Zoe Eleni arrived yesterday at 3.14, 5 pounds and 4 weeks before her due date. Although her vitals were ok, our worst nightmare about her heart condition has come true and my tiny baby girl is having open heart surgery tomorrow at 8.30 in the morning. They think they can fix the aorta which is basically a coarctation and she has a good prognosis but first they have to get through the surgery tomorrow. Please keep my little girl in your prayers tonight and tomorrow. We love her so much already, we want to get a chance to be her mommy and daddy.

BFP #2 04/25/12 EDD 01/04/13(?) confirmed ectopic 05/16/12 6 wks 5 days 2 doses of MTX-Lost left tube on 05/25/12 Back to TTC, earlier than originally expected.
BFP #3 01/05/13 EDD 09/17/13 u/s 1/24/13-great appt, measuring 2 days ahead, NT scan 3/11/13-great scan measuring 4 days ahead, A/S 4/29/13-another great scan can't wait to meet my baby BOY!!!!!

DD had a co-arc repair when she was born. Thankfully it was done via a thoracotomy and not open heart. She recovered very well and is doing great now. Babies heal very quickly and they are so resilient.
I hope surgery goes really well, I'm sure your daughter will do great. Take care of yourself - I know how hard it can be. If you're nursing, keep pumping. My supply went down on surgery day from stress, but went back up once DD started nursing again.

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

My step-daughter had open-heart surgery as an infant. While I wasn't a part of her life at that time I have heard many stories about it. Stay strong and have faith!
