This is my first injectable cycle. I triggered Thursday night, and had my IUI yesterday. I had the most extreme pain starting about 90 minutes after the IUI. I could not function to care for my DD, could barely stand upright, could not sleep, peeing was excruciating. I always have ovulation pain, but this was insane. I am still in pain today, not nearly as bad, but bad enough that I have been just lounging around all day.
Last IUI cycle, I had some pretty intense ovulation pain, too, and it started about 3 hours after my IUI. It didn't seem to last as long as yours, but I was super uncomfortable and really worried about the intensity of the pain. It was only on my left side, but that's where I had 2 follicles at the time of trigger. In any case, the pain subsided quite a bit within 24 hours and my doctor reassured me it was normal. I used a heating pad and that helped with the pain significantly. The pain was intense, but I got a bfp out of it, so I'm hoping the same happens for you! Good luck!

I had 7 IUI's before moving to IVF. The ovulation pain was horrible after the trigger shot. I could barely walk into the doctors office for the procedure. Strangely IVF was less painful for me (even with more eggs) but I think it was because I didn't do the trigger shot.
