Poop question

My almost 6 month old son is and always was formula fed, he drinks gerber gentle since he was born.. He used to poop greenish once a day.. In the last 3 weeks he has been pooping 5 or 6 times a day not very much at a time but it'd bright yellow.. Almost fluorescent colored and a little seedy.. Could he be allergic to something or sick? I know breast fed babies typically have yellow poop but I'm worried about the number of times he's pooping a day and the color

My DD is BF, but around 2 months old that happened to her too. She went from pooping once a day to pooping everyyyyy time she nursed for a week. I took her to her pediatrician and she said that DD likely got a virus. She said if DD didn't have a fever or seem dehydrated that she was probably fine. But I was supposed to bring her back in if it lasted longer than a week. she also recommended nursing more frequently to prevent dehydration.
