Hi! Back and trying again!

Hi Ladies! I don't think I posted in this forum before-I found this board when I was pregnant earlier this year. I had a m/c in May at 10 weeks. I also have five kids ranging in age from 20-10. I'm 42 and DH is 40. No known fertility issues other than being soooo olllldddd lol

 Dh and I had decided to 'try for one more'. The m/c was tough, and it took till Aug for us to decide to try again. I'm in the TWW right now. Right now I am calm, as our last preg happened within 2 months. So far I have the Fertility Friend app. I didn't get an opk but will if not sucessful this time.

 After the m/c I was like NO WAY will I do this again, but then I realized, we wanted that baby and nothing has changed that....so we will go for it and see what happens. I do know the truth is that there is a risk of these things happening at my age. But then I remember that I had a m/c at 19 also and went on to have five kids so....we'll see!

Glad to have a place where I'm not considered NUTS for TTC at 42!!!

    Welcome and good luck.
    I only have 2 kids, they are 17 and 9 but we are trying for another. We had a m/c in march so I know the heartbreak. Hopefully we will both get BFP soon.

    Welcome! This is a great board with lots of useful information and many women in their 40s ttc. GL!
    Me:39 Dx LPD, Fibroid, AMA and all that goes with that. H:37 Dx low motility and low morphology. TTC since 3/12. Clomid 8/12 and 9/12: BFN. 11/12 on a break for Myomectomy sched. 11/26. Resume TTC early 2013.

    Me:36 DH:38 TTC#1 since 4/2012
    Me DX: Hashimotos,Hypothyroid, DOR, MTHFR,  DH: normal

     IUI #1-#4 BFNs and a few cancelled cycles in the mix.
    - poor responder
    ***Suprise BFP on 6/13/13. Natural MC @6wks 3days
    IVF#1 and 2- Cancelled due to no response on max stimms
    FET 5/20- BFP
    1st Beta- 641
    2nd beta- 2166
    Sono- TWINS!!!!
    Two Boys! Born January 2015 @36 weeks.  Healthy and no NICU!  So blessed!
