Positive post...

Okay I don't know if this has ever been done before but as a woman myself i know how hard it can be to truly love yourself, and being pregnant I also understand how harder this can be with all the pains, weight gain, stretch marks, skin changes, discharge, emotionalness, snissing, and many more.

So I wanna know what you generally love about yourself? Make us feel better as I'm sure atm all friends and family are just hearing everything we are hating about our changing bodies!

GO.....

  • I used to hate my stretch marks on the sides of my tummy, but now I love them  after my DH said to me 'Francesca, your body is not ruined, you're a goddamn tiger who has earned her stripes'

I love him a lot more after this.

Not trying to be snarky, but I follow a group on Facebook by exactly that name.. Maybe where he got it? Either way still sweet he said it to you to make you feel better.

I love my strawberry blonde hair. I always get compliments on it. It's just not something you can buy in a bottle.

Lol so there is! I'm going have to ask him when he gets home now just to see the look on his face!
  • I love my hair, I love my eyes, I love my style!

  • I love my silliness. I laugh a lot, I'm easy going (most of the time), and I'll do whatever to have fun, even if others think it's weird or dorky. I have no problem being myself, which is sometimes a very difficult thing to do. It definitely took me years to feel okay expressing myself in these ways without truly giving a crap about whether or not others thought I was weird/dorky etc.

Ex: ridiculous dances, I make funny faces (so say DH and my students), sing along to songs even though DH says I'm terrible (I'm not THAT bad). There's a lot of little quirks I have but they're hard to explain online.

I think I "liked" a page by that name! Lol. I remember a friend posted it with a picture of her baby bump. It's cute either way that he used it. I wouldn't hold it against him ;)

I wouldn't use it against him, I'm actually quite impressed that he would remember to use a quote at a relevant time :)
  • Love this idea for a post!

    1. I love my pregnant body. I feel kind of cheesy saying this because it's so cliche, but the old adage about feeling more powerful, more womanly, more sexy has totally applied.

    2. I love my pregnancy hair. I've had hormonal hair loss for as long as I can remember, and pregnancy has balance out my hormones to the point that my hair is thick and full and shiny. I'm sure I'll shed like crazy postpartum, so I'm trying to enjoy it while I can.

    3. My lactose intolerance has temporarily disappeared, and cheese and I are currently in a hot and heavy relationship. Do not disturb: eating all the cheese.

  • I love being tall and blonde. I feel like a Viking warrior chick. I love that even pregnant I can swim pretty much indefinitely (swam across a 3 mile lake last weekend). I can cook.
