Hello,
I realized I've never done a proper introduction. I've been on the website on and off over the past year, and have posted a few times. I'm a FTM to my son who was born mid May.
He was born with an intestinal birth defect (that we did not know about ahead of time) that caused an intestinal blockage, which resulted in multiple trips to the doctor during the first week (they didn't look into it much at first) and finally a trip to the ER at 5 days old with an immediate transfer to our children's hospital. We ended up in the NICU for 2 weeks, and he had surgery to correct the issue while we were there. Needless to say, it was the most terrifying few weeks of my life! We made it, and he is thriving now. We still have some residual issues, but nothing we can't manage. He's a sweet, laid back kind of guy! I need to look up how to make a siggy
Anyway - My question. I'm on a quest to find a big diaper bag to hold more than our SkipHop Via (so small!) holds. I was looking at the DadGear backpack and it seems to have tons of room - but it might be too big! Does anyone have one? Thoughts? Appropriate for mom? Edit - I've only seen the DadGear online and not in person. I don't think any stores around me carry it.
Re: Dadgear backpack & intro
I got this bag off etsy. It's not specified as a diaper bag but it holds a whole lot of stuff and my husband carries it. I got it in grey but it comes in tons of other colors.

OiOi has dad bags on their website and Eddie Bauer makes backpacks. Hope that helps!
Welcome and happy to hear your LO is thriving now!
