Girl names list...

I can't get DH to engage in the baby name choosing. He wants it to be a joint effort but he hasn't been ecstatic about any if the names I suggest. I dont want anything ending in a y or i and trying to avoid gender neutral and multiple spelling option names. Be honest, Are these all horrible?:
Hazel
Hannah
Sadie
Violet
Tessa
Charlotte

    Theyre not horrible at all but they dont do much for me. I like Sadie. Other suggestions: Viola,Vivienne, Natalie, Victoria, Melanie, Elaine, Jane, June, Diana, Francesca, Luna, Paige, Bridget, Hillary, Alice, Olivie, Lila, Bette

    I happen to love your list :)  Both Tessa and Violet are on my list too.

    I also like Caroline, Vivienne, Cordelia, Matilda, Annabelle, Lila, and Anna Kate. 

    I like Ruby, even though it violates the "ends in y" (I have the same preference), because it doesn't seem to be baby-ish like other "ee" ending names.

    What are your H's concerns? What are his suggestions?

    Hazel gets my vote. Violet, Tessa and Charlotte are my other favourites.

    I am not a fan of Hazel, Sadie, or Violet.  Hannah, Tessa and Charlotte I like! 

    DH and I had a VERY hard time with names.  He kept vetoing every single name (literally) I would tossed out there and I would veto every single name (literally) that he tossed out there.  It took us hours and hours of looking through baby name books and websites to come up with a short list of names we both like.  My advice would be to make sure you guys spend lots of time looking at name. There will eventually be names that you both like and you won't be bullying him into a name he doesn't like.

    I love Hazel, Sadie, and Violet in that order.
    I like Tessa, Charlotte, and Hannah in that order.
    All of them are very nice names!
