Do you have an Adam or Gavin?

How popular is it?  We are thinking of naming our baby boy Adam James.  Our other choice is Gavin James.  We can't seem to choose.

    Adam was #82 last year and Gavin was #40.

    I teach and I haven't had an Adam in the last 6 years and I haven't had a Gavin in 4.  However, there I know there was a Gavin in last years class, just in another classroom.

    He's the single greatest thing I've done in my life and reminds me daily of how fun (and funny) life can be.  He's turned out pretty swell for having such a heartless and evil mother.

    I have a Gavin! He is one! When I was active on the pregnancy boards there was about 3-4 other mommies who were having Gavins.

    Gavin is much more trendy than Adam. Adam is timeless and way underused in my neck of the woods. I live in Alabama though where everyone is named Brayden and Madison. 

    I think Adam James is nicer sounding. I don't like Gavin and James together ... something about the G then V then J. It just doesn't flow very well.

    Go for Adam, and post on the baby names board!
