Feeling snarky

I need to get off FB tonight I think, a mommy and me group there has me feeling SOOOO snarky!!

Asking questions like if you don't have a pnp down stairs where do you change lo?? The floor! Dumb butts

Or saying they can't leave there 22 month olds alone down stairs long enough to change lo diaper and flaming me because I do, really what is in your house that's that dangerous and why not either pick it up OR teach your kid better!!!

Like I said I'm feeling snarky anyone got anything

  • Wow, seriously?  I don't have anything to add, but if I was on that group, I'd leave for a while, too!

  • The places I have changed my baby's butt...floors on numerous friends' bathrooms, the booth seat at a mini-golf food place, outside on the bare ground...she's still alive last I checked.

  • I changed lo on the toilet seat in the airplane bathroom. I bet that was a no no.

I changed the nastiest diaper of her life on the toilet seat in the airplane bathroom... I sometimes change her in the trunk area of my SUV..And I don't even own a PNP!! .I guess it's basically amazing she's survived 15 months!

Edited to add that I'm more than just a little snarky ;)

I always change DD on the change table because it's enough of a battle to change her and FAR worse for me to change her anywhere else. She fights and screams in general, but the fight ends faster on the change table like she knows I mean business up there.

Otherwise, I frequently let DD roam the house without strict supervision. We have a small split level so she can get up and down the stairs like a champ. It's not like I have any knives or guns or broken glass laying around, everything dangerous is locked up so if she goes up/downstairs alone and I'm busy I don't rush after her. We've baby proofed the cupboards with toxic chemicals and are in the process of teaching her not to go into the regular drawers. Her worst offense so far is throwing my tampons everywhere.

  • Would your group be horrified that I've changed DD on the floor since we brought her home? Changing tables were so awkward for me.
Same here. I have a group here that is the same. Some people ask the most ridiculous questions. And don't even get me started on the spelling mistakes and grammar! Auto correct fails are one thing but some people don't even try to spell anymore. As for snarky... I try to follow the old saying if I don't have anything nice to say, I don't say anything at all.
